Rights and obligations

• Distributors have an obligation to accept WEEE from consumers free of charge if they sell the same type of products.

• Distributors have an obligation to accept WEEE from business customers free of charge if they purchase the same type and quantity of products.

• Distributors have an obligation to store and handle WEEE properly for further collection by Elretur’s logistics subcontractors.

• Distributors have an obligation to inform their customers both in their shops and in advertising materials about their obligation to take-back products.

Elretur, via its logistics subcontractors, offers the collection of WEEE free of charge from distributors in accordance with specified guidelines. You may also use our information materials free of charge (see Information material in the left side menue). Elretur, via its operators, ensures that environmental toxins such as PCBs, mercury and cadmium are properly processed while at the same time we exploit the material resources contained in WEEE. You should therefore always use our take-back scheme so that WEEE does not end up where it shouldn’t
